Commissioned Work
Squeezing in time for my own projects has been wonderful since I left my teaching career of thirty years. Really? It went by pretty fast! Now I’m creating time for commissioned work as well, and besides that being challenging, I’m learning so much experimenting with new techniques and new palettes and Art Materials. Recently I was asked to do an Oil painting as a house portrait for one of my neighbors that will become a holiday gift for her daughter. What a nice idea! While my son and his family are making plans to move to a larger house, I plan on making sure I create a painting for them of their lovely ‘current’ home on Rainbow Lake. So many great memories were shared there!
Goals
I would love to be able to Oil paint, collage or Watercolor one piece a month.
I hope to get into NYC much more frequently to enjoy our rich Art History.
Specifications
Requests for a personal work of Art can be filled out on the form provided. Please include the approximate Size, surface, ( paper, canvas, board,) etc. that you have in mind. If your project is site specific, or a portrait, please include any reference photos. No format is too large, however there could be additional framing or shipping costs as per your needs. There is no standard cost based on size. Each project is considered separately to adhere to the clients needs and specifications.
You need to be involved in the creative process, because it is only when your dreams and inspirations are infused into the work that it can really come to life!
